Bill and Laurie Virgin have been in ministry for over 29 years. Bill attended Boise State University and Christ For the Nations Institute where he met Laurie. Bill went on to receive his Masters and Doctorate of Theology degree from Jacksonville Theological Seminary.
Bill and Laurie began their ministry serving as youth pastors in 1984. They have been on staff and in various leadership positions at the mega church level as well as, smaller churches. In the fall of 1999 they became the senior pastors at Life Christian Center in the suburbs of Kansas City, Missouri.
Bill and Laurie were married in 1983 and are blessed with four beautiful daughters Abigail, Joy, Aimee and Lindsay, who all serve in ministries, missions, ,and leadership positions. Bill and Laurie have a strong desire to mentor and empower young couples and parents to achieve a successful balance in ministry, marriage and parenting.
Bill and Laurie have dedicated their lives to reach into their community through different ministries.They established a ministry called “Chaplains N More” where he employs local chaplains to meet the needs of the un-churched, in hospitals, nursing facilities and counseling for marriages and weddings. Both Bill and Laurie are gifted counselors and are passionate about extending hope and healing, as well as practical tools for living an abundant and blessed life.
Laurie ministers in the public school districts in Missouri providing abstinence education and character based education. Laurie, also minsters at women’s conferences and at Christian universities empowering men and women of all ages to reach their God given potential and divine destiny. Serving as a local facilitator for Christ Life Ministries, she has had the opportunity to work with individuals in the area of inner healing and life controlling behavior.
Bill and Laurie love being able to relate to leaders and provide an opportunity to strengthen and encourage them. Their compassion and desire to tenderly care for , restore and bless other ministers and leaders is their greatest joy and calling.
