Jamie, along with his wife Julie, has served in pastoral ministry for 30 years. He has experienced a variety of pastoral roles including music/worship, youth, interim, Christian education, church planter, co-pastor, and lead pastor. He’s been honored to shepherd some of the most amazing people on the planet.
Jamie and Julie have 4 wonderful children and love a good beach vacation. They are avid Pittsburgh Steeler fans and often enjoy a summer ride on their Honda Rebel motorcycle. Jamie enjoys reading, writing, running, and Manning’s (a local favorite) almond joy ice cream.
In 2011 Jamie completed his Master’s degree in Spiritual Formation from Spring Arbor University. This opportunity gave him the joy of experiencing the fullness and beauty of the Body of Christ as he learned from and with a variety of Christ followers from all Christian denominations. He has a heart for seeing Christ formed in others (Galatians 4:19) and to stand back and watch God give the increase.
Jamie has experienced first-hand the joys and sorrows, and ups and downs of leading a church. He and Julie have been deeply loved and significantly wounded along the way. But God’s love has never failed, and His faithfulness is everlasting.
The Lord has given Jamie a desire and passion to walk alongside other pastors, ministry leaders, and their spouses as they experience the challenges of ministry that can affect their personal lives and marriages. In his own words, “I wish I would have had a Standing Stone shepherd at certain points along the way.”
