Michael, an ordained Elder, and his wife Toni have served together in ministry for over 10 years. Michael has seen the positive and negative events in the lives of Pastoral leaders, events which fueled his desire to support and encourage them during times of difficulty.
Michael’s calling to support pastors, lead him back to school where he obtained a BA degree in Christian Counseling and later an MA degree in Mediation. Both courses have broadened Michaels knowledge of human frailty and deepened Michaels heart for God’s calling to serve his people.
Michael operates an alternative dispute resolution service established in 2017 offering family and commercial dispute resolution services in the North Central Texas area. For several years, Michael was a full time House Parent within an organization that provided the kind of emotional and spiritual support that fostered well-being for children in care. Those years with the children opened his eyes and heart to understanding and meeting the needs of children in the system. While Michael remains involved with family services designed to promote healing and reconciliation in broken and at-risk families, Michael’s main focus these days has been pastoral care.
Michael is working on his Doctorate in Theology at Barnham Graduate School and Seminary. Michael is a Certified Advanced Mediator who was a member of Texas Association of Mediators, Texas Mediator Credentialing Association and the Association for Conflict Resolution. Michael continues as a volunteer mediator at the Dallas Dispute Resolution Center and for local churches as needed.
Michael married Toni in 2000 and they have a son. Michael is excited about working with Standing Stone Ministries as he seeks to shepherd the shepherds.
