Thoughts to Live By

Ask God to give you something to do for him that is bigger than you have ever done. Then make a commitment to focus on Him and His resources before you take the risk and spiritual step by faith. Then surrender and move forward to the unknown. Watch how God lifts you up and takes you to a higher level of Faith. You will be totally in God’s hands. Trusting God and Total surrender is the most freeing thing we can do as Christians. All the negative, stressful, and confining things just fall away. We become so filled up with God’s strength and Wisdom that our cup spills over with blessings we never dreamed of.

In Ephesians 3:20, the Bible tells us: “Now glory be to God who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of–infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts or hopes.”

4640451925_7d5093fa38_zWhen God is in control of our lives we do not need to worry or be attached to any outcome. We must eliminate the old tapes that tell us we can’t do this or that and break from the darkness of our negative thoughts. The only reason we get discouraged or hurt is when we lean on our own thoughts and fears and they take over our life because God is out of them.

Daily centeredness on the Lord keeps you grounded. You can relax and let Him do the work through you. We must strive to nurture and cultivate an atmosphere around us that is harmonious. Strive to be of God and lean on His wisdom in all areas of our life and all that we do. The cure for self centeredness is God Centeredness and serving others. Don’t focus on yourself, your needs and wants. Focus on other people’s needs and wants.

That is when you receive your greatest blessings.

It is in our quietness and stillness that we grow in our faith and become confident.

We must not take on the World as a “HUMAN ENDEAVOR.” Jesus said: “God is our battery and we should never need recharging.” If we are doing the Will of God our batteries should never need recharging.

We can easily be led into captivity by seeking other’s answers or needs and desires that are not of God. We must not let intimidation or fear imprison us in any area of our life. Remember, the one who is with you, is far greater than the one who is of the World.
